Modicon PCX 57 fits in every PC, without modification. Via the ISA bus and OPC software, it benefits from the openness of the host PC (microprocessors, operating systems,…) without its constraints (virus,…).

Schneider has decided to develop a PLC coprocessor in PC format, which offers the advantage of developing applications such as supervision, data processing, data processing, digital control, display…, just by adding other PC cards, which conform the worldwide standards.

Choosing a PCX 57 coprocessor does not interfere with the development or performances of your application. A unique programming tool, PL7, is necessary for all the PLC range. The operating modes are the same, and the applications can be moved safely from one processor to another, regardless of the hardware.
